Robert E. “Bob” Ringham, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at Loretto Cunningham, with his loving wife and children by his side.
He was born September 26, 1921, in Huntsville, IN, the son of the late Muncle Melvin Ringham and Mary Esther Urshell. Bob was a US Army veteran of WW II and attended Texas A & M and Syracuse University. For many years, Mr. Ringham was employed at General Electric and later Sears.
Bob was a devout Catholic and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother-in-law.
He will be missed by his wife, Juliet “Julie” Medicis Ringham; his six children, Cheryl (Tom) McCune of Fayetteville, Cathy (Dan) Felker of Oneida, Bob (Kathe) of North Syracuse, Susan (Doug) Hague of Camillus, David (Jocelyn) of NY City and Mary (Joe) Telesca of Liverpool; his sister, Betty Lou Stinson of Gallatin, TN: his 14 grandchildren; and his 4 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel, 3690 Erie Blvd East, DeWitt. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
