Michael S. Felczak, 99, of Syracuse, died on August 8, 2017. Michael was born in Amsterdam, NY and lived in the Syracuse area for the past 51 years.
Michael was a US Air Force veteran of WW II. After the war, Michael worked as an Investigator for the FBI unit of the US Attorney General’s Office in Wichita, KS. He later owned Gem Neon Sign Co. in Fort Johnson, NY. Thereafter, he worked in sales and advertising until his retirement in 1979. Michael had been married to Molly Ricciardi Felczak for 62 years, until her passing in 2016.
Michael is survived by two daughters, Marlene Rommevaux of Jamesville, NY and Marcia (Bill) Wyatt of Kremmling, CO; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of Michael’s 100 years will take place on September 30, 2017 at 1 pm at Barrett Manor Community Room, 4615 Southwood Heights Drive in Jamesville, NY.
Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
