Robin M. Medler, 61, of DeWitt, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Francis House, with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 9, 1956, in Schenectady, the daughter of Susan Walker Moskal and the late Richard P. Moskal. Robin received her BA degree in Nutrition from Syracuse university. For over 20 years, she was employed with Syracuse University in various departments, including the social work department and most recently as a Project Manager’s Assistant in CPDC. She was a member of DeWitt community Church and was an active volunteer at Syracuse University in fundraising and homecoming events.
Robin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to cook, bake and most of all spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of over 15 years, Allen G. Medler of DeWitt; her mother, Susan Moskal of Fayetteville; two children, Richard Courto and his fiancé, Kate Mrowka of Branford, CT and Ann Courto of Oneida; a stepdaughter, Virginia (Marty) Cesario of Liverpool; two grandchildren, Savanah Cesario and Marty Cesario; two sisters, Kimberly (Danny) Massa of Pompey and Marilyn Moskal of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews, Loren (Torren) Doherty, Nicholas Massa and his fiancé, Erica Augustyn, Tess Massa and Lilli Fowler; and a great nephew, Roan Doherty.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 am at DeWitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd East, DeWitt. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 13 from 4-7 pm at DeWitt Community Church. Spring interment will be in DeWitt Cemetery.
