Jeffrey P. Bigness, 64, of Clay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital due to injuries sustained in an accident. Born in Syracuse on September 12, 1955, Jeff loved motorcycles, snowmobiling, and fishing with his best buddy, John Eggert. He enjoyed taking walks with his dog Livy. He was head of custodians at St. Charles Borromeo Church for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie (Middleton) Bigness; two sons, Brandon (Jennifer O'Neil) Bigness and Corey (Tricia) Bigness; a daughter, Danielle Pollicino; mother's, Joan and Louella; his brothers, Michael (Mary), Glen, Howard (Marie), Brian and Raymond Bigness; sisters, Lynn, LuAnn and Susan Bigness; sister-in-law, Carol Neal; brothers-in-law, David and Arthur Middleton; special aunt and uncle, Maureen and Jim Bigness; special cousins, Tina, Tim, Tom and Tammy Bigness; and several nieces and nephews. Jeff loved all of his six grandchildren very much, Makenna, Keira, Skye, Mason, Jayce, and Jack.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home before the service, 3690 Erie Blvd East, DeWitt.
