Annie Young Keim, 90, of DeWitt, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020. Annie was raised in the Pleasant Beach area and went to Lakeland Elementary School. Later, in her teenage years, she moved to Brewerton and graduated from Central Square High School, Class of 1948. Her first job was working in the office at General Electric on Wolf Street. She went on to have a family and moved to DeWitt in 1956. She worked in the Jamesville-DeWitt School District for many years in the main office and Resource Center. She enjoyed cross stitch and knitting. She also loved reading books and the movies. Most of her time was devoted to helping her children and their families with whatever they needed. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, David (Aimee), Susan (Donald) Cullen, Stephen and Jeanne Goldthwait; and predeceased son, Richard. She also leaves many grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private on Monday at 10 am at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel, 3690 Erie Blvd East, DeWitt. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
