Sunday, March 12, 2017Janet was a true friend to my mother Irene Jordan who passed away last March. My mother had six children and Janet never missed sending thoughtful correspondences over the years. We will miss receiving the birthday cards and Christmas cards. Tuesday, February 21, 2017Janet was a long time friend of my mothers (Ruth Dickey Foley). They grew up around the corner from each other in Dewitt and stayed in touch through the years. While I was growing up Janet always would come visit us, sends us cards for every holiday, and occasionally bring us coloring books. We loved her visits. She always showed a genuine interest in being part of our lives even through adulthood. She was always so thoughtful. For many years, she came over every Christmas eve for dinner before going to sing in the Choir. Janet went on to take the same care and interest in my daughter Adrianna who is now three. She would send the most thoughtful cards on holidays, called her on her birthday, and came to her baptism. I'm so glad we were able to visit with her this past November, we went to church and went out to Friendly's with my sister and daughter. One thing I have learned from Janet is even the most simplest things, such as a card or a phone call, can mean the most. I will never forgot her thoughtfulness and in return it has made me be more thoughtful and kind person to others. Rest in peace Janet.

Monday, February 20, 2017I have know Janet almost my entire life. My family grew up next door to Janet and her family on DeWittshire. And even though I moved away from NY, we never lost touch with each other. Janet was the most kind, beautiful soul I have ever know. She was part of our family and we loved her. I never heard Janet say a bad word against anyone. And despite her physical difficulties she was probably the happiest person I've ever know. Always cheerful, always ready to help. She will be missed. God speed and God Bless Janet on her Journey.

Sunday, February 19, 2017My sincere condolences to Janet's family on her passing. I first met Janet in May of 1973. I worked with her at my first summer job at Marine Midland. She was so kind and patient. We re-connected years later when I worked for her attorney. She was a lovely woman, and she will be missed.

Sunday, February 19, 2017Our hearts are broken. Janet was a family friend for over 50 years. If we were in Syracuse her favorite place to go was Friendly's. We will miss these outings. RIP Janet, old friend! We are in AZ and cannot make the service, but she is in our thoughts and prayers.
