My condolences to you all over the passing of Nan. She was one of the first people in GCA outside my garden club in Westchester NY that I met many years ago. We were both newbies at the "zone level" and fondly shared that experience. She was a gentle soul and will be so sorely missed by so many.

To know Nan was to know someone who was talented, but modest, and was a lot of fun. GCA was what brought us together, and I feel fortunate to have had the chance to know her. She was someone who never wanted to upstage anyone else, yet her competency was such that she could have. Always helpful and smiling she set an example for us all. The world should have more people like her.

Nancy and I were "gym friends" for several years at Golds Gym. She was a supportive and delightful friend, and we shared many hours of conversations after aerobic dance classes. I am so saddened by her passing, and can only imagine the loss her family must feel. My deepest sympathies go out to you.

Nancy was a treasured volunteer for the Syracuse Garden Club and the Garden Club of America. Her responsibilities and success in positions within GCA made her friends all over the country. I write from the Fort Orange GC in Albany to say we are so sad to hear this news and send our deepest sympathy to her family, who shared her with garden club for so many years.

To Nancy's beloved family,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of dear Nancy.
Nancy was a member of our bowling team and was always so much fun to be around. Bowling was very new to her and she always was such a good sport about being a " bowler " . She always had a smile on her face . She will be sorely missed by the bowling girls!
May you find strength in those who surround you. Carol
