Jack A. Parry
Jack Armitage. Parry, 88, formerly of Celoron, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.
He was born September 20, 1929, in Jamestown, the son of the late John and Ruth Armitage Parry. He graduated from Southwestern Central High School, class of 1950, after serving in the United States Marine Corp. In 1951 he married Martha Depas, a loving union of 66 years. For many years, Jack was a tool & dye maker with Crescent Tool and later was employed at Chautauqua Chemicals. Jack and Martha retired to Calabash, NC and returned to New York in 2015.
Jack is survived by his wife, Martha and four daughters and their families, Laura (Robert) Dunn of East Syracuse, and their children Michael (Jamie) Dunn of Moon Township, PA and Elizabeth (Benjamin) Martin of Syracuse, NY; Joann (James) May of Binghamton and their children, Martha (Jeffrey) Dittman of Albany and Geoffrey (Danielle) May of Portland, Oregon, Karen (Sandor) Bali of Simsbury, CT and their daughters Anne Marra of Watertown, MA and Jacqueline Marra of Newton, MA; and Jacqueline (Steven) Robie of Plymouth, MN and their children Alaina (Patrick) Floryance of Rochester, MN and Jay Robie of Plymouth, MN. In addition, Jack is survived by two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Hayden Dunn of Moon Township, PA a sister, June Hard of Lancaster OH, several brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be private at the Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel in DeWitt.
