Obituary of Teresa Baldwin
Teresa A. Baldwin, 90, of Jamesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Crouse Hospital.
She was born June 9, 1927, in Owego, the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Anna Shields Fahl. She attended C.C.B.I. in Syracuse and worked for over 35 years as an Executive Secretary for Allied Chemical and the Jamesville Quarry. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church, DeWitt.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Lyle) Porter of Clay and Alice (Frederik) Nielsen of Minoa; five grandchildren, Adrienne (Mathew) Armstrong of Phoenix, Timothy (Ashley) Porter of Fort Mill, SC, Jill (Gregory) Grant of North Syracuse, Nikki Nielsen of Minoa and Jeremiah (Jessica) Nielsen of Manlius; four great grandchildren, Josephine, Francesca, Andrew and Audrey; a sister, Mary Faldermeyer of Stony Point; two sisters-in-law, Jane Fahl of Hornell and Jacqueline Baldwin of OK; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Merton D. Baldwin in 2010; and three brothers, Edmund Joseph, Jr., William and James Fahl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee Street, DeWitt. Interment will be in Jamesville-Walnut Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
