Glenda F. Kingston
Glenda F. Kingston, 82, of Fayetteville, died Sept. 26th at Loretto, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Watertown, NY, she lived in Fayetteville for nearly 50 years. Glenda graduated from the Royal Victoria Hospital School of Nursing in Montreal in 1957 with her RN and worked at Upstate Hospital and the American Red Cross. More than anything, Glenda cherished her role as mom to her six children and being “Gigi” to her grandkids and to others. She enjoyed listening to sports and political commentary on the radio and listening to Elvis on her Alexa. She was known for her overwhelming love and kindness and had a warm, sweet personality.
Surviving are a son, Karl (Lori) Kingston of Minoa, NY; a son, William Kingston of Fayetteville, NY; a son, John Kingston (Marge Dwyer) of Manlius, NY; a daughter, Paula (Chuck) Beeler of Manlius, NY; a daughter, Peggy Kingston of Naples, FL; and a daughter, Pamela (David) Janack of East Syracuse, NY; a brother, Frank Fuller of Cobleskill, NY; and brother, Frederick (Sandra) Fuller of Godfrey, Ontario; six grandchildren, Charlie, Kerry, Sarah, Jessica, Katie and Chris along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday September 30th at Dewitt Community Church, 3600 Erie Blvd. E in Dewitt, from 2-4, followed by a memorial service at 4:30.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dewitt Community Church, or Hospice of Central New York, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
