Anne was a life-long resident of Syracuse, a devout and active member of All Saints Church, and a beloved mother to all of her children and their spouses. After raising her 11 children, she worked for Syracuse University’s English Department and Project Advance, all jobs she enjoyed very much. After 15 years, she retired to provide care for her husband, Don. She was proud of all her children and was thankful for the attention she so richly deserved. She had many endearing qualities, including being a wonderful cook and knitter. Her greatest quality was her ability to actively listen! Every person she spoke with knew that their story was empathetically heard. She had a kind word for all and spoke ill of no one. She lived an exemplary life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
